Autism Spectrum Coalition is a world wide 501-C-3 non profit organization providing information, networking, referrals and printed
materials for families, challenged individuals and professionals concerned with the autism spectrum. Founded in 1984, MAAP Services,
adheres to the basic principal that all individuals with autism spectrum challenges have the ability to learn, grow and enjoy a good quality of life.

Meet the Founder |

Susan Moreno is the founder and president MAAP Services and Asperger Syndrome.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mrs. Moreno graduated from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and attained a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Valparaiso University in Indiana. She is the mother of an adult woman with an autism spectrum disability.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mrs. Moreno is active in the Autism Society of Indiana and the Autism Society of America. She has written two books on autism.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Susan’s work is recognized as being the first to
promote LISTENING to how individuals with an autism difference feel, rather than
deciding what we think they feel. You can read more about this in the new best

We envision a world where all people - even in the most remote areas of the globe - hold the power to create opportunity for
themselves and others. We believe providing information and encouragement while connecting families helps create better lives for those living on the
autism spectrum and their families. So far, we have connected with people in 119 countries worldwide. We look forward to connecting to many more. |

Autism Spectrum Coalition is primarily funded through the support of lenders making optional donations.
We also raise funds through grants, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
